Born in Istanbul. He graduated from Mimar Sinan fine Arts High School in 2009 as the 3rd one. Mert Ege won with a full scholarship from F.M.V Isik University in 2009. He graduated in 2013 and set up his own metal sculpture workshop. In 2014, he was entitled to enter the sculpture master’s program at the faculty of Marmara University, institute of fine arts. In 2015, he became the art manager within the Asas Aluminum.

He still continues to be art director in there. He had three solo exhibitions abroad and domestic. Mert Ege Köse, produces large sculptures for public and institutional. Kose mostly works with circular forms and Aluminium as media. The circle represents the most perfect of creative forms. Whit out beginning nor end and whit out sides or corners.

Aluminium is the neutral element with the perfect balance between the number of positive and negative charges, creating therefor the perfect balance in life.
